Thesis Statement on "The Double Edge of Globalisation"
According to Chanda (2007), globalisation has an overwhelming negative effect on the environment. However, it could help increase world-wide exchanges through new advances in technology.
Chelsea, This is really a fact rather than your position/stand. A thesis should include your position, which will then be argued. Also, when I look at the reader response, I don't even see this statement. The purpose of the exercise on the thesis statement was to help you develop one for your reader response.
Finally, I have one language issue:
While globalisation intensified international trading ... > While globalisation intensified international trading ... Do you know why?
